I recently bought a 64Gb HTC One from MobiCity here in the UK. The phone that arrived turns out to be the Australian/Hong Kong version (model number PN07140) and came with an Australian power supply (two angled pins). I don’t ordinarily have a problem with that, but every time I try to upgrade the Android 4.1.2 currently on the phone to 4.2.2, it tells me that no updates are available for my phone. As I understand it Android 4.2.2 has been available in the UK for some time and in Australia/Hong Kong too.
Does anyone know why it’s not finding the update? Is it because the phone is away from ‘home’?
